PRODA-klasser med Anna-Lise Marie Hearn!
VELKOMMEN!
Anna-Lise creates a positive and safe space for dancers to explore and expand themselves physically and mentally. The classes will move seamlessly from improvisation-led exercises into guided physical phrase work. We will begin with exploring and bringing awareness into our own body, into the space and to connecting with each other through improvisation, working both independently and in response to others, moving into progressive exercises across the floor and through the space.
The classes will be full of energy, exploration and play. Deeper into the session, we will explore more complex movement phrases and choreographic material using what we’ve already developed and established. Within this material, we will explore the bodies movement capabilities, qualities and strength, and the patterns and power of movement in space. There is a strong focus placed on articulation and individual artistry inside the physical technique of the movement. Value is placed on the feeling of being expansive in space, yet an equal attention is paid to detail and intricacy. The last part of the class will develop on into a creative task with a focus on movement composition and spatial relationships, allowing space for the participants to explore their own creative voice, make clear and conscious choices in response to a movement frame, and explore elements from the class in their own way.
Within the movement of the class, there is an energy that flows throughout the whole body, reflected in the energy given out to every individual in the studio, creating an enjoyable, open and energised session from beginning to end. Within her classes, Anna-Lise aims to engage, challenge and inspire every individual she works with, supporting them in their artistic development and discovering the depths of their creative abilities.
