**PRODA-klasse m/Hagit Yakira!** AVLYST

Denne morgenen blir det PRODA-klasse i samtidsdans med Hagit Yakira!

Hagit Yakira is an award-winning Israeli choreographer, scholar and educator. Currently based in Stavanger, Norway, and working as the vice-dean for research and innovation at the University of Stavanger at the faculty of performing arts, as well as an associate professor at the dance department. Hagit Founded Hagit Yakira Dance Company in 2007 and has since gone on to tour the UK, Europe, Scandinavia and Israel. Besides working with professional dancers she leads performance projects for the community and non-professional dancers as well. Her training commenced at the Music and Dance Academy in Jerusalem, Israel where she gained a BA and a teaching certificate. After qualifying as a Dance Movement Therapist in 2004, she relocated to London where she completed an MA in European Theatre Dance, specialising in choreography (2005). In January 2019 she received my Doctorate degree. Hagit’s work has been commissioned by Sadler’s Wells, The Place, Greenwich Dance, Trinity Laban – London, the Respond project, Yorkshire Dance, University of Leeds, Breakfast Creative – Leeds, Dance4 – Nottingham, and supported by Arts Council England and Arts Council Norway.

Om klassen: The class will evolve and shift organically between taught material (based on release technique), improvisational tasks and contact work. The class is an invitation to explore, play, connect and listen.

Denne helgen blir det ballettklasser med Matias Rønningen.

Matias Rønningen har gjennom sin karriere samarbeidet med flere av Norges fremste koreografer og dansekompanier. Han har jobbet med anerkjente koreografer og grupper som Dansdesign / Anne Grethe Eriksen & Leif Hernes, Kari Hoaas, Heine Avdal & Yukiko Shinozaki, Eivind Seljeseth, Pia Holden, Anne Ekenes, Jo Strømgren, Ina Christel Johannessen og Kjersti Alveberg. Siden 2011 har han vært en viktig del av Ingun Bjørnsgaard Prosjekt, hvor han har bidratt som medskapende danser i flere produksjoner. Mellom 2014 og 2019 var han også en del av Nasjonalballetten, hvor han utmerket seg i ledende roller i stykker av kjente koreografer som Jiri Kylian, Ingun Bjørnsgaard, Kjersti Alveberg, Jo Strømgren, Ina Christel Johannesen og William Forsythe.
